Hippo House -Holiday or Volunteer Accommodation

Hippo House the Twinning Project’s HQ when they are in Uganda.

When its not being used by the Project’s volunteers, it is available to holiday accommodation.

Located on the Mweya Peninsula in the middle of the Queen Elizabeth National Park, it can comfortably house a group of 8 people but single rooms can also be rented.

The income generated through Hippo House is reinvested back into the local communities, so by staying here

you are making a contribution to our work.

For larger groups or tours the Project has access to similar properties on the peninsula

To enquire about our rates and availability please contact the Twinning Project at enquiries@queenelizabethparks.org

The Twinning Project can also arrange both cultural and wildlife tours.

These will be led by local guides and the income generated will go back into the local community.

Top of the list are the Wildlife Conservation Experience Sessions
