Katwe Tourist Information Centre
The Twinning Project has visited the Tourist Information Centre at Katwe on a number of occasions. It provides a good start to a tour of the local area and the staff at the centre are eager to help and full of useful information.

The Twinning Project Team sees projects like this one at Katwe, as an important example of how local communities can benefit from the proxity of the Queen Elizabeth National Park and engage with tourists.
The Centre's focus on local history and culture as well as wildlife means that any visitor to this part of the Park  who want's to learn more about a visit to Katwe TIC is a must.
The Twinning Project would urge anyone visiting Queen Elizabeth National Park to make time to visit Katwe.
