‘An African Evening’

An evening of talks, short films and food tasting.

The highlights of the evening will be a talk by Boni Mpario who will talk about his upbringing as a Masai

7.30pm - 10.30pm - Queen Elizabeth Country Park Visitor Centre Theatre.

A minimum donation of £3 would be appreciated

 

Friday 23rd March

‘Wildlife Quiz Night’

A Quiz night with a difference, all the answers will have something to do with wildlife, but you do not need to be a wildlife expert to take part. Teams and individuals welcome. Details to follow.

 

Saturday 14th July

‘ The Park to Park challenge 2012’

This Years Challenge is open to anyone. We will be walking the Staunton Way, from Staunton Country Park to the Queen Elizabeth Country Park

All the money raised will go to help the schools and communities in and around the Queen Elizabeth National Park Uganda.

The London to QE Bike Ride

A charity bike ride from The Ugandan High Commission in Trafalgar Square to the Queen Elizabeth Country Park

‘Charity Barn Dance’

Our annual Barn Dance and celebration of the Twinning Project

To be held at Buriton Village Hall

Autumn 2012 'Art for Africa’

We are looking for artist young and old to come along to our Art for Africa event. The idea is that you are get sponsorship to paint one of

A number of squares that when put together will create a giant picture of a deer. This will then be sent out to Uganda for display in Queen Elizabeth National Park

More details will be available nearer the time
