Queen Elizabeth Park Cultural Tour

Created by the Twinning Project and run in conjunction with Ranger Safari Tours, the Queen Elizabeth Park Cultural Tour has been designed to give you genuine African Experience.

The Tour takes in a range of activities including learning about and how to make traditional African crafts, learning to make and play local musical instruments, taking part in dance workshops and gaining an insight into Ugandan literature.

There is even an option to find out more about traditional Ugandan cooking.

The Ugandan Wildlife Education Centre - Entebbe

'In partnership with our stakeholders, to create and promote an understanding of conserving the biodiversity among the Ugandan public, with

emphasis on the young generation'

Situated close to Entebbe Airport The Ugandan Wildlife Education Centre is well worth a visit and a great place to relax and unwind either before you set off to tour the rest of Uganda or to recover before to fly home. Members of the Twinning Project Team have stayed at UWEC and are happy to recommend it. Their philosophy of 'Conservation Through Education' is very much at the heart of the way our Twinning Project works and so we share many of the same ideals and aspirations as UWEC.
