Ugandan Schools

5 Primary and 2 Secondary Schools are involved in the Twinning Project.

These school can be found throughout the Queen Elizabeth Conservation Area in Uganda.

The Schools exchange information with their English counterparts and take part in hosting visits

from Project Volunteers.

The Twinning Project is working with the Community Team from Queen Elizabeth National Park to try and provide an internet connection to every Ugandan Twinned Schools.

During 2012 the Project and the QENP Community Team will be organising English themed days at each of the Ugandan Twinned Schools and also arranging environmental training for teachers to take place

in the National Park. There are also reciprocal visits planed for late in 2012 and it is hoped that by the end of 2013 a film will have been made about each of the Ugandan Twinned Schools.

The Twinning Project collects pens, pencils and exercise books to donate to our twinned schools in Uganda.

We also accept donations of money to help with improvements to the school infrastructure, provide the means to communicate with their English partner schools and environmental training to help with improvements to water catchments, eco-sanitation and other sustainability issues.

If you would like to donate either money or equipment for our schools please contact the Twinning Project at enquiries@queenelizabethparks.org
