Uganda Visits 2018 Events 2018

UK Project Teams visited in Uganda in March

 

Rangers from the QE Parks Project visited Uganda earlier this year. The Rangers led a Community Engagement Workshop, visited the nursery school at Mweya to deliver some games and books and attended the World Wildlife Day in Kasese.

 

The Team also met which Rangers and Managers from Kibale, Lake Mburo and Semiliki National Parks.

 

There will be an additional visit to Uganda led by Project Volunteer and one of the 'Twinned' Schools lead, Adam Stanley.

 

Adam will joined by three teachers and Volunteers from CM Sports, who will be helping out with this year's Conservation Cup.

Africa Day

 

The Project will be at the Watersmead Country Park in Leicester at their African Ranger event.

Our annual sponsored walk from Staunton Country Park to Queen Elizabeth Country Park in aid of education projects and activities.

QEPP featured at Photographic Exhibtion

Petersfield School Henry Green staged a photographic exhibition based on his visit last year to Uganda,

Henry accompanied teachers on a visit to Project schools and was inspired by what he saw to showcase experiences through photography.

The exhibition took place at The Studio in Petersfield.

UK Teachers Annual Visit to Uganda July/August

 

Teachers will once again be visiting Uganda Project schools and carrying out a number of education projects.

UK Rangers at School Grounds Day

 

Project Rangers will be helping at Liss Junior School's 'Grounds Day'

The Project Team recently took part in West Meon's School open day.

Team members ran sessions on being a Ranger and how to manage a Nature Reserve.
