We need people to volunteer to help raise funds, to spread the word about the project, to encourage their local school or community group to get involved and to perhaps to take part in an exchange visit.

The fund raising ideas currently being organised include, a series of car boot sales, a skills auction. a wildlife quiz night, a music concert and barn dance.

If you are not able to go out and raise funds yourself you can always do your bit by supporting one of the events above.

(see our latest news and events page)

And we are not just after large amounts of cash: £5 can buy pens, pencils and exercise books for school children, £20 will buy a desk for a Ugandan school and £50 will buy wet weather gear for the Rangers protecting wildlife from poachers. £250 will help community groups to start up eco-tourism schemes.

We are also happy to receive donations of equipment as well.

But the project is not just about raising funds, we also want to encourage community groups, individuals and schools to take part in a cultural and educational exchange. There are also opportunities for individuals to volunteer directly with the Project either here in the UK or in Uganda

Come and have a chat about how might get involved!
