Twinning Project Signing Ceremony in Uganda

After an initial delay for rain,The Signing Ceremony took place outside the Education Centre in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
In Uganda rain on the day of an important event is consiered a good omen and was therefore seen as a blessing on the Project so everyone was very pleased.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the Queen Elizabeth National Park by Eunice N Duli, the Director of Tourism and Business Servicesfor UWA and by Tom Obong Okello Conservation Manager for the Park. The English side of the Project was represented by Debbie and Mark Saines from the Queen Elizabeth Country Park's Volunteer Ranger Service with the support of Charles Etoru one of the Project's founders and the UK's Deputy High Commissioner Mr Phillip Mani.
The ceremony was also attended by leaders from the local community, senior members of the UWA and Park staff. It also attracted the interest of Ugandan Press and television.
The Twinning Project is grateful for the support and help of everyone at Queen Elizabeth National Park who help to make this event such a success.
Dancers from the local community entertained the attendees of the signing ceremony with their expressive and acrobatic dancing.
