There are two books we always recommend to anyone travelling to Uganda, the first is the Bradt Guide to Uganda and the second is Uganda's Great Rift Valley, written by Andrew Roberts, which is a marvellous read covering the geological, historical and social history of the Albertine Rift Valley.
We have a limited number of opportunities to travel to Uganda as Project Volunteer.
Volunteers are expected to pay their own transport costs, but accommodation at Hippo House the Project's base in Queen Elizabeth National Park is provided.
Volunteers are expected to donate some UK time as well.
